MARCH ON THE “DÚŽNIK PEAK”

On 2^nd May 2015 we remembered the 70^th anniversary of a WWII local battle in which a Romanian military plane was shot down near “Dúžnik Peak”. The peak is located in Melčice-Lieskové cadastre with the height of 807 meters above the sea level. The march was dedicated to honour Romanian soldiers who fought and died during the World War II in this area.
