Generally, in accordance with the EU and National legislation, municipalities in Slovakia are obliged to follow strict rules for waste management. The main aim is to protect our environment by collecting, separating and processing materials and substances (such as liquid body waste, glass, or cans).
Facing newly arising challenges Ivanovce village has implemented a very effective plan for waste disposal and recycling. Initially, the plan has been properly communicated to the local population with the aim to better understand nature of the imposed procedures. Waste management has not only a positive effect on environment but it also has a significant economic impact on both, the village and its citizens. Generally, waste is divided into different categories that allows a more effective disposal and recycling of the collected waste:

IT IS VITALLY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYONE OWNS RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENVIRONMENT AND THEREFORE, PROPER MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCED WASTE SHOULD BE OUR INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION TO PROTECT NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT FOR NEXT GENERATIONS.
